I prefer not to merely dump a pile of photos on the internet, but the Cordillera Huayhuash is worth looking at, and I probably won’t write a detailed trip report. This was the last of my travels in Peru this summer, but I hope to return soon to take care of much unfinished business.

Your trip in Peru is very inspiring. How long did it take you to do the whole Huayhuash circuit?
There are several complicating factors: I was doing it with a friend, had horrible intestinal issues for the first 2-3 days, and did some version of the “Huayhuash Alpino” circuit, which adds some difficulty, but which I highly recommend. The whole thing was parts of 8 days without hurrying.
